Marcellus Shale tour with labor officials examines impact on workforce

The first tour of a Marcellus Shale drilling site was an eye-opening experience for Pennsylvania Labor and Industry Secretary Julia Hearthway.
Hearthway, a contingent of L & I staff members and representatives from Team Pennsylvania Foundation were given a tour of a drilling operation in Lycoming County by Pennsylvania College of Technology and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation officials to highlight the training and education services provided to the natural gas industry by the college and the many job opportunities across Pennsylvania in that sector.

Judge lifts order protecting Beaver County drillers

A temporary restraining order that barred a Beaver County family from contesting shale gas drilling on their farm was dissolved today, according to attorneys for the family and for Chesapeake Appalachia.

Weston Solutions & Chesapeake Release Bradford County Test Results For Split Samples Of EPA Fracking Study
